TapouT XT Day Eighty Four - Rest

Today should have been a day of rest but since we've been running around most of the week we are a bit behind. I had some loose ends to work on so Mandi graciously volunteered to get our shopping done. She also has been trying to find a pair of tan shoes so she worked that into her schedule. That meant I would be stuck at the house working. I didn't mind since I have been getting the normal crud that comes with each spring. We both have been battling allergies, Mandi longer than me, and hope to be over it in a couple of weeks.

As usual, our rest day wasn't much rest but it was a break from TapouT XT. I swear we both drank a half-gallon of herbal tea throughout the day. I didn't get to everything that I needed to so tomorrow will be much of the same. At least Mandi got some things done around the house and she has us in pretty good shape for most of next week. Everything should start settling down soon. I guess adding the extra week of TapouT is fitting since we are still in a whirlwind.

Oh, we did manage to sell our road bikes this last week but our shiny new mountain bikes didn't get out today. It's looking like they'll have to wait until next weekend at the earliest. We've also been talking about getting out of town one weekend so maybe we'll start to really lock that down. March was a fairly hectic month so we'd both benefit from a little rest and relaxation. I was hoping to get it in before Mandi starts her new job but that seems to be a futile effort. I'm thinking even if we could just squeeze in one night away from home that would be great, we'll see.
