TapouT XT Day Seventy Five - Legs & Back
Corbin came home today! I called the vet to check on him and they said he didn't eat anything for them but they felt he was stable enough to come home. They said he was coughing, but that's due to the amount of fluids they pumped into him to combat his mild dehydration and Pancreatitis. He wasn't himself when I picked him up but he seemed exhausted. I got him home and settled in on the couch. I gave him some food but he didn't want anything to do with it.
Mandi had a training today so we got a late start with our TapouT XT workout. Legs & Back is a short routine with a blistering pace. This is the closest one to circuit training as there are a few exercise groupings that are repeated twice. They're not exactly the same but the modifications are minimal and Mike really pushes the pace the second time around. We both held up well and stayed with the DVD for the most part. We were running low when it came to the killer move but we both kept crawling through to the end, even the extra 10 seconds.
I'm still not a legband fan since they tend to roll up and bind in my laces. They do provide good resistance so I just put up with them but I do think there is an opportunity for improvement. Something we've noticed while doing the TapouT XT program is that we have grown to really love any move with Supermans in them. We're not sure why, they're just fun.
Well, Corbin seems to be right back where we started. He's been coughing and having trouble breathing like he did before we took him to the vet last Friday. We were able to get him to take his meds and eat some wet food but he is miserable. I just don't know if our little man has anything left to fight past this. I'll call the vet in the morning to see what can be done.
