TapouT XT Day Fifty One - Yoga XT

This week of TapouT XT mixes things up by having two sessions of Yoga XT, the first one today. I'm not sure if I wasn't as tired due to yoga coming early but I pounded through it. I even suffered through the side plank leg lift combinations, not perfectly but a huge improvement. Mandi was struggling throughout the workout so I think she was having an off day. I know how much those suck, especially since she normally kills yoga. We'll be performing this again on Thursday so we'll see if I can repeat my performance and Mandi will get the chance to bounce back.

While reviewing this week's schedule I noticed it contains several of some of the higher intensity workouts but it appears to be just a segue into the last four weeks. There is no way of saying that any four weeks are more intense then others but the last four weeks look pound-a-licious. All of the four week blocks look rough so I'm probably just hyping it up in my mind. This first round of TapouT is a kick-off to a healthier lifestyle so we'll be chasing this round with a second one, we may change the workout line-up a bit though.

I personally think that having fitness goals are great. Even though ours are not extreme we chose an intense program that interested us, that definitely got us off the couch and out of our comfort zone. I can't encourage anyone considering starting any program enough. Since starting TapouT I've watched most of the 60-90 day fitness program infomercials. It is inspiring that people have lost over 100 pounds, some over 200! Yeah, it's also nice that some people are super ripped but that pales in comparison to those who overcame obesity. If you're on the fence, go watch those infomercials or YouTube videos of normal folks, I think you'll feel the same as I do and before long you'll be busting out a program like TapouT XT!
