TapouT XT Day Thirty Four - Cardio XT

I think today we wanted to punish ourselves just a little bit more. Since it was a Cardio XT day we knew it was a bruiser but we decided to try it with the weighted gloves, yikes. That definitely kicks it up a notch. Out of all of the TapouT XT workouts this one is the hardest for me. I gave it all I had and surprisingly did better than usual. I'm sure we'll be sore tomorrow, especially from the gloves, but it's our rest day anyway. I do recommend purchasing those gloves sooner rather than later, we didn't, to help maximize your results.

I can't help but sympathize with Monet, one of the test group participants, because he is dying like I am during the cardio routine. Something tells me he's not a huge fan of it either. Regardless, it works so he sticks it out and so do I. Mandi was joking how I'm dying through the cardio and she's always dying during the strength routines like buns and guns. We obviously like opposing routines, that should help us stay fit since each of us can motivate the other when times get tough.

Being day thirty four, it's the close of the fifth week of workouts. There is no doubt that we are stronger than when we started. We are also noticing a little bit of definition so we are moving towards our goal. I'm almost where I was when I quit working out a couple of years ago. It took eight months doing it the old way with dumbbells and only 34 days with TapouT XT, crazy!

Tonight we cooked for my sister which was the first time we subjected someone else to our new diet. She likes Indian cuisine so we did a repeat of the chicken tikka masala, it was a hit. We bought and baked her some naan so it was a real exercise in willpower to not eat any. She was a sport and ate it all to save us from the temptation.
