TapouT XT

TapouT XT

TapouT XT

We have completed two rounds of TapouT XT and only have great things to say about the program. We kept a daily log during our first round in our blog so I recommend you start with Getting Ready for TapouT XT if you are interested. It's important to note that we have never done a video exercise program of any length. I saw the TapouT XT infomercial and then fate had me showing it to Mandi about a month later. We had both tried different exercise regimes in the past but wanted something we would both enjoy and would be able to perform when we go on the road.

TapouT XT is an extreme training program so don't expect to be a master from day one, unless you are already in optimal shape. There are days when it just kicks you down then stomps on you for another 40 minutes. The irony is that it is you bringing the abuse so pushing forward and never quitting is the key. Modify the moves when you need, rock the pace when you can and just keep bringing everything you have.

Our goal for TapouT XT was to get fit. We were not wanting to have massive muscles but rather lean solid physiques. Using our body weight with some resistance band augmentation aligns with our philosophy. I encourage everyone embarking on any exercise regimen to drop all preconceived notions of what you will look like and just focus on each day. Step by step you will get stronger, healthier and happier. By the end you will be you, as you always were, just polished.

We love TapouT XT, even on the days we hate it. It doesn't push us around but rather challenges us to give more. At any time we can hit stop and walk away but we don't. The commitment to ourselves, each other and a healthy lifestyle is what we use as fuel. Digging deep is not only rewarding but it is also self reflecting. What began as a quest to become fit has ingrained itself as part of ourselves, our future and who we are.
