TapouT XT Day Eighty Eight - Competition Core
The saga of the suffering sick continued today. We've come this far so there was no turning back, once we got home we started TapouT XT. For some reason I was thinking it was a Cross Core Combat day, nope, Competition Core. It really didn't matter since we like both of those but I was happy I wouldn't be facing the grinder. We got a slow start but we eventually hit a groove and were able to churn this one out. We both had to take short breathers, mostly to blow our noses, but I was surprised at how much we stuck it out.
If we would have planned better we probably would have picked a different schedule for this week, as it happened we just repeated the last week. Mandi has been mentioning that she is missing the push-ups which now has me wanting to do some. Today would not have been a good day but we both have grown fond of them, weird. Now, I'm not saying this is not a tough week, quite the contrary, but doubling it up while being sick is taking its toll.
Being day 88 we have only a couple days left until completing round 1 of TapouT XT. We've been so busy it really hasn't sunken in. I must admit, I'm looking forward to a little break. I love this program but I think I'm in need of some recovery. We'll do some type of exercise during our break, maybe even a couple TapouT routines, but overall we'll knock it down a notch to rest up for round 2. We both have come a long way and now we're ready to get into even better shape, maybe the best shape of our lives. If you're wondering, TapouT XT works.
