TapouT XT Day Eighty Six - Buns & Guns

When we got home after work we quickly got into Buns & Guns. It was going to be another busy evening so we knew we needed to get started right away. This is the shortest of all of the TapouT XT workouts so it flew by. I did manage to snap my leg band on the very first move but we had an extra one from the set we bought. This is the second one we have broken so if I find the brand name I'll be sure to add a warning. They are also extremely long so we knot them so they'll fit us better. Both broke at the seam so strategically knotting them there should prevent that failure from occurring. Mandi re-tied the one I broke so I'll be using it again in the future.

Beside the leg band debacle we both did a great job and only struggled a bit with the killer move. It's not terrible but I just found myself a little gassed and tired from battling with my allergies. Mandi stuck it out though, I think she's trying to make up a little for last week. Today was also an ultimate abs day and we both powered through it. I did make a small improvement during the single leg magnet crunches. Usually my back hurts from the full leg extensions so I pull them in for those. Today I was able to keep my legs fully extended which worked my abs a lot more. Hopefully this wasn't a one time thing.

Once again I had some work to do so Mandi did all of the cooking and cleaning. I can tell that this week is intent on not letting up. Just when I think I'll get a free moment something else pops up. I really enjoy being busy but I'm not happy when Mandi and I don't get to spend some time together. Even if we're just cooking, it's always wonderful. We have decided to get away this weekend for one day, probably the beach, so at least we've made some plans. I'll mostly ignore any forms of communication I receive since I won't have a computer with me anyway. Oh how life just likes to get in it's own way.
